I love the rain. Weaving through countryside and ornate Toragean houses in shaded valleys. Stone megaliths climb uphill and cool chiseled tombs hold images of the dead.
Get up early today to buy some coffee at the market at an old shop, famous for their coffee. At first the owners were grumpy but I spoke the language and started to discourse. They grind the coffee more finely. As I spoke they realized we were the same age and they lit up and we became friends. It is so great to have language.
These are the cave graves of dressed wooden effigies representing individuals buried in the caves. These are very old before photography replaced the need of having an”image” for peopel to rember their dead.
